Good Neighbors (GN) is a global non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in Korea in 1991 and currently operating in 50 countries. Since 1997, the Ethiopian branch (GNE) has been dedicated to improving living conditions through various development initiatives. GNE operates in multiple regions across Ethiopia, including Amhara, Oromia, Tigray, Benishangul Gumuz, Somali, Sidama, South Ethiopia, Central Ethiopia Regions and Addis Ababa City Administration.

1. Invitation to Bid: Good Neighbors Ethiopia (GNE) invites interested and eligible Grade-5 GC/BC contractors and above to submit sealed bids for one block construction project in Gelana Woreda, West Guji Zone, Oromia Region

2. Eligibility Criteria: Bidders must provide:

• Valid renewed trade license for current fiscal year
• TIN & VAT registration certificates
• Current tax clearance certificate issued for current fiscal year
• Grade-5 GC/BC (or higher) registration certificate from the Federal Public Procurement Agency (FPPA).
• Bid security: only CPO 2% of total bid amount, valid until bid validity period.
• Compliance with all tender document requirements.

3. The bid remains floating from August 18, 2025 to August 26, 2025 for seven consecutive working days

4. Bid documents shall be obtained commencing from August 18, 2025 from Addis Ababa, Lideta Sub-City, In front of Balcha Hospital, on Ahmed Business Center Building, on 5th Floor, Good Neighbors Ethiopia Head office or from Good Neighbors Ethiopia, Gedeo West Guji Project located at Yirgacheffe town, on Tseday Bank building during working hours (morning from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM and afternoon 1:00 PM-4:00 PM) from Monday to Friday against payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 (Five Hundred birr only) by cash only.

5. Bid documents must be submitted in separate envelopes; original and one copy for technical and financial documents marked as: “The bid document for one block construction project :bid number GNE/24/2025″ and be addressed ONLY to: “Good Neighbors Ethiopia, Gedeo West Guji Project Office, Yirgacheffe town, on Tseday Bank building” on or before August 26, 2025 until 2:00 PM

6. Electronic bidding & Bids presented by any bidder after the closing time and date shall not be accepted.

7. Bids shall be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their legal representatives on August 26,2025 at 2:30 PM at Good Neighbors Ethiopia, Gedeo West Guji Project Office, Yirgacheffe town,on Tseday Bank building

8. Bidders are seriously advised to read and comply with the instructions provided in this bidding document.

9. Good Neighbors Ethiopia reserves the right to cancel all or parts of this bid
