INVITATION TO BID FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

Pastoralist Community Initiative and Development Assistance (PACIDA) is a development and humanitarian organization that empowers Pastoralist communities through sustainable community driven development interventions.

PACIDA is registered in Ethiopia under the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Agency for Civil Society Organization registry number 5323.

PACIDA is inviting qualified external auditors to audit its accounts for the year ending December 31, 2024, The organization is looking for the audit firms to prepare project specific audit reports based on the donor’s demand and ACSO.

Interested audit firms who wish to send their proposal should have

1. Renewed professional license

2. Registered certified chartered accountants

3. Tax identification number and Value Added Tax (VAT) certificate

4. Renewed business license

5, Adequate and experienced personnel CVs

6. Demonstrated experience in auditing International non-profit organizations

SCOPE OF SERVICE

1. The firm will audit the clients financial statement of the specific project fiscal year 2024.

2. The firm will audit the financial statement and the supporting documents of the concerned periods as prepared by the client and will provide his opinion on the fair presentation.

3. The firm should conduct the audit according to Accepted Accounting Standards and Agency for Civil Society Organizations requirement.

4. Management letter and financial consolidation report will be the major output of the services.

5. PACIDA reserves the right to accept or reject all bids at any time prior to contract award without thereby incurring any liability to bidders.
