INVITATION FOR RE-BID (IFB)

IFB NO: Alle/KfW-SLM-IV/NCB/WMAAL/08/2025

The Alle Woreda Agriculture and Land office intends to apply part of the allocated budget from the KfW-SLM-IV to cover the eligible payments under the contract for the construction of canal and appurtenant structures of Gaggi small-scale irrigation project for the local community.

1. The Alle woreda Agriculture and Land office invites eligible contractors of category WWC-6 and/or GC-6 and above to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labour, material and equipment for the execution and completion of the following projects in two lots.

Invited bidders should have certificate of competency from the relevant institutions renewed for the bidding period, commercial registration certificate, renewed trade license for the bidding period,

Tax clearance certificate which is valid for the bid submission date that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender, TIN and

VAT registration certificate.

2. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) and are open to all eligible bidders.

3. A complete set of bidding documents can be collected from Alle Woreda Finance Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (Five Hundred only) at Woreda Revenue Authority Office in cash only.

4. All bids must be delivered to the address below starting from the date stated or noticed on Ethiopian Herald 14/12/17 to 8/1/2018 before 10:00 A.M in the Morning. Late bids shall be rejected.

5. Bids will be opened on the same date at the presence of the bidders’/bidders’ representatives at Alle Woreda Finance Office, room No. 1 on 8/1/2018-E C/ at 10:30 A.M in the Morning.

6. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid closing and bid security shall be valid for 120 days after bid opening.

7. A bid must be accompanied by a bid security amount indicated in above table in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee only.

8. Qualification criteria stated on the bid document should be respected and have to be addressed in a brief and clear way
