Invitation to bid

The Ethiopian mineral corporation (EMC) invites sealed bid from all interested eligible bidder for the supply of good mentioned below;

• HYDROULIC EXCAVATOR

Interested bidders must meet the following conditions to participate, Valid Documentation, Renewed trade license for the current fiscal year 2017 EC, Value Added Tax (VAT) registration certificate, Tax payer Identification Number (TIN), Supplier registration certificate proving inclusion in the official supplier list, Tax clearance certificate from the relevant revenue authority Eligibility Requirements: Interested bidders must:

1. Provide a detailed specification of the goods/services as described in the bid document.
2. Any bidder must submit their tender document to the tender box prepared at the logistics and procurement directorate, Block No. 3, for 15 consecutive was announced (published).
3. Competitors must submit their bid documents (both technical and financial) separately, in large envelopes, with the original and copies, and must seal them and affix the organization’s stamp before submission.
4. Attend the bid opening session, which will be held publicly on the 16th day (or the next working day if it falls on a holiday) at 10:00 AM, with winners announced at 10:30 AM.
5. Bid document can be obtained from the company’s procurement and logistics directorate against nonrefundable birr 300.00 and presentation of renewed trade license.
6. A bid security 2% of the total value in the form of a CPO issued by the commercial bank of Ethiopia or any other financial institute recognized by the national bank of Ethiopia submitted along with the bid document.
7. If awarded, the winning bidder must provide a 10% performance bond (bank- guaranteed CPO) of the total contract value
8. The Corporation reserves the right to cancel the bid fully or partially if a better alternative is found
