Job Grading Job Specification and Salary Structure Study Digaf Micro-credit Provider 5.Co.

1. Background

Digaf Micro-credit Provider S.Co. is a growing financial institution providing inclusive financial services to diverse customer segments To ensure competitiveness, internal equity, staff motivation, and alignment with industry standards Digaf MF intends to review and develop a comprehensive job grading system, job specifications. and salary structure based on job descriptions and proper role identification.

2. Objective of the Assignment

The objective of this consultancy is to:

  • Review existing organizational roles and responsibilities t establish clear job specifications
  • Design a comprehensive job grading and classification fframework
  • Conduct a comparative salary and benefits study against the financial sector and microfinance industry benchmarks in Ethiopia
  • Assess intimal equity and external competitiveness of current pay practices.
  • Recommend a fair transparent, and competitive salary structure aligned with Digat MR’s strategic objectives see and sustainability.

3. Scope of Work

The selected consultancy firm/company will be expected to:

  • Review Digal MF’s curent salary, benefts, HR policies and organizational structure
  • Conduct a detailed job analysis and prepare job descriptions and specifications
  • Develop a job grading and classification system.
  • Benchmark salary and benefits with comparable financial institutions in Ethiopia.
  • Recommend a revised salary scale, grading structure, and benefits framework
  • Provide practical implementation guidelines and change management support.
  • Present findings and recommendations to Digaf MF’s management and board.

4. Eligibility Criteria

Interested consultancy firms/companies must demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in HR consultancy, particularly in job grading job evaluation, and compensation studies in the banking and microfinance sector).
  • At least 3 years of consultancy experience in Ethiopia
  • A team of qualified professionals in HR organizational development and financial sector analysis
  • Ability to deliver within the agreed timeframe.

5. Submission Requirements

Consultancy firms/companies interested in this assignment are invited to submit:

  • Company profile and legal documents (renewed license. TIN, VAT)
  • Evidence of relevant assignments conducted in the last 3-5 years.
  • Proposed methodology and approach for conducting the study
  • Professional CVs of key experts/consultants
  • Estimated timeline for delivery.
  • Financial proposal.
