Ethiopian Guenet Church Development & Welfare Organization (EGCDWO) was established in 1999 G.C as a faith-based, non-profit and non-governmental organization and registered bearing the number 1417 under Agency for Civil Society Organization with a vision to see a community that is healthy and holistically transformed across Ethiopia. The organization tries to ensure the holistic needs of the poor, orphans and marginalized communities in the country through integrated development, humanitarian and peace building activities. Recently, EGCDWO launched a humanitarian response program entitled with “Food Crisis Support for Communities in Shire Endaslasie Town” to contribute to preserving the lives and livelihoods of drought affected communities in the Tigray regional state Shire Endasilase Town through the purchase of food items.

Food Items to be purchased

• 387,000 KGs of Cereals (Maize (በቆሎ)/ Millet (ማሽላ)/ Wheat(ስንዴ)
• 38,700 KGs of pulses (Chickpea (ሽምብራ)/ Faba bean (አተር)/ Haricot bean(በሎቄ)
• 12,900 liters of fortified food oil and
• 40,635 KGs of famix or Corn Soya Blend

• Valid and renewed Ethiopian Trade License.
• Valid VAT (tax payer) registration certificate
• Company registration certificate
• Tax clearance certificate
• TIN registration Certificate
• Supplier list
• Annual Audit Report
• Recommendation letter

Bid Security

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 200,000.00 ETB (Two Hundred Thousand Ethiopian Birr). This security must be submitted in the form of a certified cheque (CPO) or a bank guarantee issued in the name of Ethiopian Guenet Church Development and Welfare Organization. Insurance, bonds, or any other form of security will not be accepted.

Bid Document Purchase & Opening

Bidders shall obtain bid documents with full specifications for 1000 ETB from Ethiopian Guenet Church Development and Welfare Organization main office around KeralBulgaria mazoria( Refer Google map) effective from the 1s1 day of this announcement. The bid submission will only be made at the main office in Addis Ababa. Bids will be closed on 2nd of October 2025 at 10:30 local time and will be opened on 3rd of October 2025 at 4:30 local time in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives in EGCDWO main office.

The organization reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
