INVITION TO BID

Bid No:-ECAE/Printer/003/2018 EC

Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise invites interested bidders to participate in the tender for the supply of Full-Color Laser Multifunctional (Printer/Copier/Scanner), Medium Monochrome Laser Printer and Small Laser Printer.

The ECAE intend to purchase:-

• Lot 1-Full-Color Laser Multifunctional (Printer/Copier/Scanner)- One,
• Lot 2 – Medium Monochrome Laser Printer – One, and
• Lot 3- Small Laser Printer – Five

1. Bidders should brining trade licenses renewed for 2017 EC, VAT registration, TIN certificate and tax clearance certification.
2. A complete set of the bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders at procurement and supplies team office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (Five hundred birr), starting from the first insertion of this advertisement on the Addis Zemen Newspaper.
3. Interested bidders shall come up with a copy of eligibility documents stated above for validation purpose the copy is to be submitted during purchase.
4. The sealed envelopes should contain one original and copy of Technical, Financial offer documents and bid security with a separate envelope.
5.  Bid must be accompanied by a bid security:-
   • Lot 1-Full-Color Laser Multifunctional (Printer/Copier/Scanner) Birr 50,000.00,
   • Lot 2 – Medium Monochrome Laser Printer, Birr 30,000.00, and,
   • Lot 3 – Small Laser Printer, Birr 20,000.00 in the form of Cash Payment Order (CPO) bank guaranty or unconditional bank guarantee.
6. Bids must be floated for 15 consecutive calendar days from the date that the invitation to bid posted on newspaper and the bid closed on the 16th day at 10:00 A.M.
7.  Bids will be opened on the 16th day at 10:15 A.M. in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the bid opening at Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise Head Office Building one, Room No. 304. If the opening date lies on holyday or not working day the bid will be opened on the next working day. Exact date will mention on the bid document.
8. The winner bidder shall furnish 10% of the contract amount as performance security within 7 days as of the contract signing date.
9.  All bids those come after the closing date and time of the tender will be rejected.
10. Unsuccessful bidders will receive their bid securities immediately after results are announced.
11. Bids must be signed, stamped, and labeled with the bidder’s name and address. /Unsigned and Unstamped bids will be rejected/.
12. The Enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject the bid partially or wholly.
