Notice of Invitation for National Re – Bid

Bid Announcement No. SSNT-T577

Ethiopian Airlines Group (ETG) intends to invite qualified Grade 2 and above General Contractors and Building Contractors to participate in the Employee Cafeteria Buildings Expansion and Renovation Project on a Design & Construction Turn-Key Basis at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.

Hence, ETG invites all interested and eligible Bidders who can meet the requirements stated hereunder:-

1. The project design and construction work shall be completed within 270 calendar days including 30 days design period from the commencement of the project.

2. Renewed trade license for 2017 E.C, VAT registration certificate

3. Taxpayer registration

4. Renewed certificate of competency for 2017 from authorized body in Category (GC/BC-2 and above).

5. Tax clearance certificate stating the bidder is eligible to participate in any public tender and valid at least at the deadline for submission of bids.

6. Local contractors must be registered in the public procurement and property authority suppliers list.

Bidding is open to all bidders as specified and defined in the Bidding Documents.

Bidders should deposit non-refundable ETB100.00 (One Hundred Birr) to the nearby Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) branch referring this tender number SSNT-T577 Ethiopian Airlines Group Account Number 1000006958277(E-99). Bidders shall email the scanned copy of the deposit slip to the address below and will get the Tender document by return Email. Bidders shall furnish bid security in the form of CPO or unconditional and irrevocable bank guarantee with an amount of Birr 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Birr only) in the name of Ethiopian Airlines Group. Any insurance and conditional guarantee shall not be accepted.

Bidders shall submit their bid documents in five separate envelopes. i.e. technical proposal (marked as original and copy), financial proposal (marked as original and copy) and bid security.

Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, Technical and Financial Bids of the Bidders. Bid documents as stipulated above must be delivered to the address below on November 14, 2025 at 2:30pm. The technical bid will be opened the same date at 3:00pm at Addis Ababa Ethiopian Airlines headquarter in the bidding room around old HRM Building in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
