IFB title: Construction machinery hourly rental work: Earth-work
National Competitive Bidding (NCB)

1) Yem zone Finance department; through allocated budget for the zone Transport and Roads Development department towards the construction meleka – Gibe2 road project earth work hourly machinery rental service which will be disbursed according to the Ethiopian fiscal year.

2) The Yem zone Finance department now invites wax sealed bids from eligible bidders for Dozer machine hourly rental service of projects mentioned above.

3) The project in short comprises 300 hours rental service for the project

4) Bids security shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening.

5) Bids must be accompanied by a security of 30,000 birr for both project in the form of bank guarantee or CPO and shall be remain valid for 60 days, insurance bond is not acceptable.

6) Bid must obtain registration for construction machinery rental service with valid license for the current year.

7) The bidder shall include particular construction machinery rental service on works of similar nature and complexity over the last four years, and details of work under way or contractually committed; clients who may be contacted for further information on those contracts.

8) Machine qualification requirement includes the followings:

Machine type	D8R CAT machine
Model	At least model 2008GC or other latest model
Power:	Minimum of 303hp 226kw for D8R
Productivity	299.47m^3/hour and above

9. A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by the interested bidders on the submission of copies of necessary renewed licenses with original from YEM zone Finance department Saja Town, up on payment of non refundable fee of birr 200.00

10. Bids must be delivered to the zone Finance department a Office room No…..Saja Town, on 15th calendar days after announced in The Ethiopian Herald newspaper up to 2:00p.m. If the 15th calendar day lies on Ethiopian holidays, the last date of bid submission will be the next working day at 2:30P.M in the afternoon at room No…… Late bids will be rejected.

11. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at 2:30 p.m on the last submission date at Yem zone Finance department.

12. Bidder must submit a complete set of technical proposal one original and two copy together with the bid document one original and two copies for each projects.

13. The Yem Special Woreda Finance and Economic Development Office reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
