Organization Name: Mothers and Children Multisectoral Development Organization (MCMDO)

Bid Title: Car Rental Services for one/1 Year

Introduction

Mothers and Children Multi-sectoral Development Organization (MCMDO) is an indigenous none governmental and none profit organization established in 1997 and re registered in accordance with the Civil Societies Organization (CSO) proclamation No. 1113/2019 with a certificate number 0022.

Currently, MCMDO has implementing ongoing and newly started projects in regional states of Somali Region, Oromia Region, Amhara Region, Gambella Regional, South Ethiopia, Tigray Region, Afar Region, Benishangul Gumuz regional states, and Addis Ababa and Dire dawa city administration.

MCMDO invites eligible and qualified vehicle rental service providers to submit their proposals for the supply of rental vehicles for a period of one (1) years for its activities in the country. The selected provider will supply vehicles according to the conditions outlined on the bid document.

Eligibility Requirements

MCMDO considers tenderers as eligible suppliers when they fulfil the Following requirements;

• The bidders should Share Our Mission and Vision – Bidders must demonstrate a clear understanding of and alignment with our organization’s mission and vision. – This can be expressed through a brief statement in the proposal outlining how their values, operations, or goals support our charitable objectives.
• Contribution from Total Sales – Bidders must specify the percentage of total sales revenue they will contribute to our organization. This contribution will directly support our charitable programs and initiatives.
• Please include: – The proposed percentage
• The tenderers should be locally registered with renewed Trade License for the current year, VAT registration certificate, Taxpayer Identification Certificate (TIN) & Tax clearance certificate stating the bidder is eligible to participate in any public tender

Rental Terms & Conditions

• All vehicle maintenance and servicing (including periodic service and emergency repairs) shall be the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
• Vehicle Condition: All vehicles must:
  • Be in good mechanical condition
  • Be clean and reliable
  • Comply with all local traffic and transport regulations

Bid Submission Requirements:

• Bidders should state a complete set of price listings per described specification, and units should be mentioned for each type.
• The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the MCMDO head office, located around Balderas, in front of the British Council.

Bid Closing and Opening:

• The Bid will be closed after 5 consecutive working days after the day of the advertisement on the newspaper and
• The bid will be opened on the date 03/11/2025 at 10:00 am local time in front of the bidders or their legal representatives.
