TOR-EXTERNAL AUDIT FIRMS
Background
NRECA International is an affiliate of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) which represents America’s 900 electric cooperatives; many are located in rural parts of the United States. NRECA International was registered by the Agency for Civil Society Organization (ACSO) in Ethiopia and accorded legal personality on 27 May 2019.
NRECA is inviting qualified independent audit firms to submit a quotation for audit services in relation to their ACSO registration auditing requirements, for the year 2025. Applications should contain the information criteria.
Eligibility Criteria
The audit firm who qualify to apply shall fulfill the following minimum criteria:-
- Renewed license from AABE
- Renewed trade license of the current year
- VAT and tin registration certificate
- Chartered/Certified Accountant Certificate (Certificate of professional competence)
- Qualification criteria by ACSO and currently in the auditors list
- Ake the audit reports through IPSAS
- Experience of auditing of international NGO’s and who can present evidence
- Relevant experience for at least 5 years in international NGO Sector
- Who can bind contractual obligation for auditing transactions from January – October 2025
Selection will be only based on the above criteria and who should submit competitive price with clear mode of payment. Any government tax should be included in the proposal.
Please also include a list of key professional staff and CVs as well as evidence of work done for other similar international companies in the past 5 or 6 years. The financial proposal budget should show the cost of performing work specified in the technical proposal. It should also include applicable government’s taxes with detailed mode of payment, and timeframe for reporting mechanism for each activities and deliverables.
