NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BID

Procurement Reference Number: 1st Batu /Mun/ W-01/2018, 2nd Batu /State/ W-22/2018 The Batu City Administration Finance office now invites eligible bidders to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, material, and equipment for Construction works of

1st. Corridor development (1km Full Corridor Package) through Highway road from OSU round about to TVET College

2nd. Mini Hall G+2 inside New hall compound (New Ongoing 2018)

The Batu City Administration Finance office, now invites contractors of Category GC-3 or R.C-3 and above for the construction of Corridor development (1km Full Corridor Package) through Highway road from OSU round about to TVET College and GC-4 or BC-4 and above for the construction of Mini Hall G+2 inside New hall compound (New Ongoing 2018) to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for the construction of the above projects. Invited Bidders should fulfill the following requirements & other appropriate documentary evidence demonstrating the bidder’s compliance

3rd. Domestic bidders shall have a certificate of registration from the Ethiopian Construction Authority or Oromia Construction Authority with relevant Categories GC-3 or RC-3 and above for construction of Batu Corridor development and GC -4 or BC-4 and above for construction of Mini Hall G+2(on going)

4^th. renewed certificate of registration from the Ethiopian Construction Authority or Oromia Construction Authority with relevant Categories for the bidding period,

5th. Trade registration certificate,

6th. Renewed trade license for the bidding period,

7th. Tax clearance certificate which is valid for the bid submission date that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender,

8th. TIN and VAT registration certificate and

9th. Evidence of being registered at the National Electronic Government Procurement Portal (eGP) supplier list.

10th. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all eligible domestic bidders as specified and defined in the bidding document.

11th. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Batu City administration Finance office and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at office hours. A complete set of bidding documents prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1600.00 (one thousand six hundred Birr) in cash for each Project interested in applying, starting from the date of this notice.

12th. Bidders are required to submit; ONE ORIGINAL plus TWO COPIES of the Qualification Document clearly marked as “Original” and “Copy”. Each Copy (2 Copies) and One Original Qualification Document along with bid security shall be sealed separately (3 seals) and envelopes containing the original and the copies shall be scaled in another outer envelope and labelled as “One ORIGINAL & TWO PHOTOCOPY” QUALIFICATION DOCUMENT.

ONE ORIGINAL plus TWO COPIES Financial Bid clearly marked as “Original” and “Copy”. Each Copy (2 Copies) and One Original Financial bid shall be sealed separately (3 seals) and all envelopes containing the original and the copies shall be sealed in another outer envelope and labelled as “One ORIGINAL & TWO PHOTOCOPY” FINANCIAL PROPOSAL.

Finally, the whole document shall be placed in a single wax-sealed envelope whose outer cover contains all necessary information about the bidder & the employer including project information.

13th. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 18/02/2018 up to 18/03/2018 -E.C, at 8:00 local time. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 200,000 in the form of CPO only for each project addressed to Batu City administration Finance office. Late bids will be rejected. Qualification application, financial offers, and Bid security of the bidders will be opened by the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, at the address below on the same date 18/03/2018 at 8:30 local time.
