Chemical Industry Corporation (CIC) invites all interested and eligible bidders by national competitive bid (NCB) for the procurement of a Comprehensive Study of the National Chemical Demand of Ethiopia for Investment Prioritization. Therefore, interested and eligible bidders can apply with fulfilling the following criteria.

1. Bid documents can be obtained from the Chemical Industry Corporation during working hours (Monday to Friday) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr only) in person from Head Quarter, 3rd floor, at Gerji, former Emperial Hotel Building.
2.  Sealed bids marked as “Tender for the procurement of a Comprehensive Study of the National Chemical Demand of Ethiopia for Investment Prioritization” with REF No.01/2018 and be addressed to mentioned above in number 1 (one).
3. The tender remains floating for 20 consecutive days from the date of this announcement. Bid proposal shall be submitted to Chemical Industry Corporation at address mentioned in number 1(one) above before 21st of the date of the announcement until 2:00 P.M. Bids presented by any bidder(s) after the closing date and time shall not be accepted.
4.  Bids received in time and fulfilling the other formalities shall be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their legal representatives on 21st of the date of the announcement at time 2:30 PM as address mentioned in number 1(one) above. If 21 is not a working day, the bid will be opened on the next day with the same time mentioned above.
5. Duplication or transfer of the bidding document that he/she acquired to participate under this invitation is not allowed.
6.  Bidders are seriously advised to read and comply with the instructions provided in this bidding document.
7. Bidders should have TIN certificate, a renewed trading license, tax clearance and VAT registration certificate and Bid bond of bank CPO or unconditional bank guarantee 2% of the contract amount.
8.  Bidders should enclose their original and copy documents with separate envelops.
9. If there is a better alternative, the Corporation has the right to reject all or parts of this bid.
