Banking Service- Handicap International

Handicap International (with a brand name of Humanity & Inclusion) is an independent and impartial aid organization working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. It’s registered with the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Agency for Civil Society Organization, under registration number 0838, in accordance with The Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2019.

The intent of the expression of interest is to identify potential and reliable banking service and obtain a qualified supplier(s) for the HI Ethiopia Country program for the provision of Banking Service

Interested and qualified Service Providers Who have the relevant authorization Certification, qualified manpower, number of branch and overall capability may submit their expression of interest by providing a complete set of information and document as listed below;

1. Bank Profile
2. Geographical coverage of branches in country (attach if there is a full profile showing this) 
3. Number of Branches, Names & Location in Bole Japan Area
4. Bank service charge (international and local transfer)
5. Cash programing service-cash delivery to client and related charge; it includes geographical coverage and modality (under the current mobility bank staff travel to a field location to distribute cash)
6. E/online/internet Banking Service and its platform
7. Intermediary/correspondence banks and by different currency
8. Experience working with NGOs
9. Loan Facility-organization and Employee-type interest rate …
10. Interest rate on staff deposit/provident Fund
11. ATM/wireless transfer facility
12. USD/GBP/EURO availability to staff and organization when request and needed
13. Any other services the bank offers. (Added Value) 

Once the responses are received further process will follow and only the service providers who meet the minimum requirement will be considered for further discussion.

Failure to submit the required documentation will result in elimination from the process 

Submission

1. Document must be submitted no later than 16 February 2026 in a sealed envelope.  
2. Label the Envelope as follows:

3. Make sure to sign off on the Submission Sheet of the organization.

HI Ethiopia reserves as its sole discretion, the right to select or reject either totally or partially any or all proposals made in the context of Expression of Interest.
