TENDER NOTICE FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

The Ethiopia Office of African Parks Network (APN) is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and long-term management of protected areas. Working in partnership with governments and local communities, African Parks Network is duly registered under License Number 3298 with the Ethiopian Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Authority for Civil Society Organizations. 

As per the standing guidelines and requirements of the Authority for Civil Society Organizations, African Parks Network, Ethiopia hereby invites interested and qualified Audit Firms to submit sealed tenders for conducting the annual audit of its books of account for the fiscal year March 2025 – December 2025.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested audit firms must provide evidence of compliance with the following:

1. Renewed Professional License.

2. Registration with the Accounting & Auditing Board of Ethiopia.

3. Valid Tax Identification Number and Value-Added Tax (VAT) certificate.

4. Evidence of settlement of all taxes for the fiscal year 2017 EC.

5. Firm’s profile, full address, and relevant experience in auditing INGO accounts.

6. Details of the audit team, including qualifications and experience of members to be assigned.

7. Proposed schedule for completion of the audit work and submission of the final audited report.

8. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with INGOs, supported by evidence of similar assignments performed.

Proposal Requirements

Qualified audit firms are requested to submit separate sealed technical and financial proposals that include:

  • Organizational background, methodology, schedules, and approaches to the audit process.
  • Professional staffing list with CVs.
  • Evidence of prior work with similar INGOs.
  • Detailed financial proposal inclusive of applicable government taxes, specifying mode of payment.
  • Clear timeframe for reporting mechanisms for each activity and deliverable.

Submission Deadline

All proposals must be submitted within Five (5) working days from the date of this advertisement.

Important Note

  • Only short-listed firms will be contacted for further discussion and negotiation.
  • Both the Technical and Financial proposals must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes and delivered by hand to the APN Office, located at Alex Building, 4th floor behind Bole Friendship Supermarket.
