Invitation for Kocho 2 River Bridge Construction Project

1.The southwest Ethiopia Roads Authority, by the budget from Southwest Ethiopia Roads Authority Peoples regional state allocated sufficient budget towards the cost of the construction of the following River Bridge Construction project.

2.Interested bidders shall submit the following evidences.

I. It’s certificate of registration from Ministry of Urban Development and Construction Bureau with category GC-4 and above, renewed for the current budget year, other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder’s compliance, which shall include.

II. Renewed business license

III. Renewed Commercial registration Certificate

IV. Renewed construction competence certificate from the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction

V. VAT Registration certificate

VI. Taxpayer registration certificate

VII. Letter of free from tax debt and Permission certificate for bidding from legal authorities for the current budget year.

VIII. Evidence of bidding registered supplier under public procurement and property administration agency.

3.Bidder who has previously had their projects terminated by our office due to nonperformance, or those who failed to complete projects under their responsibility shall not be eligible to participate in this bid.

4.Bidders shall submit three envelops “Qualification information” (One original sealed separately and each two Copies sealed separately, then finally sealed with one outer envelope), “Bid security” and “Financial bid” (one original sealed separately and  each two Copies sealed separately, then finally sealed with one outer envelope) and finally three envelops should be sealed in one an outer envelope.

5.Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages. Qualification information first and financial bids of qualified bidders at the second stage.

6.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8:30 to 12:30 am and 1:30 to 5:30 pm from Monday to Thursdays and 8:30 to 11:30am and 1:30 to5:30 pm Fridays.

7.A complete set of bidding documents prepared in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 1200 on the office commercial bank of Ethiopia account No1000642058936 during working hours of 30 successive calendar days starting from the date of this advertisement on Newspaper. The final submission date and opening of proposal will be on the 31 date of this announcement on the newspaper at 11:00 am and 2:30 pm respectively. If the 31^st  date is not a working day it will be on the next working day at the same time.

8.Bids must be delivered to the bellow address on or before 11:00 am of the above stated date. The bid must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 500,000(Five Hundred thousand Birr only) and it should be valid for 118 days from the latest deadline for the submission of bids. Late bids will be rejected.

9.Southwest Ethiopia Roads Authority reserves the right to cancel the bid in whole or in part if it finds a better option.
