OPEN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING Tender No. TBSF/FP/01/2026

1. Tana Beles Sugar Factory invites sealed bids from interested eligible & qualified international Bidders for the Supply and Delivery of the following Factory Mechanical Spare Parts, Chemicals & Sewing Needles.

All the Items shall be delivered on FOB, CFR, DAT or DDP basis at the Buyer Options. 

2. Interested eligible Bidders are invited to participate in this tender directly or through agent, the agent their duly represented local agents. In case of represented by the local shall furnish letter of representation from the principal and valid Trade License, TIN, VAT and Current Tax Clearance, and Suppliers’ Registration Certificates. can be purchased by interested bidders

3. A complete set of bidding document in English during office hours from the address mentioned below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Eth. Birr 500.00 (Birr Five Hundred) in Tana Beles Sugar Factory Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Account.No.1000057735167.

4. Sealed bid marked as per the instructions given to the bidders in the tender document and addressed to the above address must be received by the BUYER at or before 10:00am 20 Oct, 2026. The document will be received through bid box or hand delivered. No liability will be accepted by the buyer for loss or late delivery.

5. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend on the date and address specified above (procurement Team office) at 10:30am (Morning).

6. All bids must be accompanied by bid security: Domestic/Foreign Bidder

• Lot 1. Birr 500,000.00 (Birr Five Hundred Thousand) Or 3,000.00 (USD Three Thousand)
• Lot 2. Birr 100,000.00 (Birr One Hundred Thousand) Or 610.00 (USD Six Hundred Ten)
• Lot 3. Birr 45,000.00 (Birr Forty Five Thousand) Or 280.00 (USD Two Hundred Eighty)

The bid security shall be in Original form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee from any Commercial Bank in Ethiopia. The Bid Security shall be valid for at least One Hundred Twenty (120) days after the Bid submission deadline. The bid shall remain valid for Ninety (90) days after the bid submission deadline.

7. Tana Beles Sugar Factory reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
