SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE

Procurement Title: Supply of Electromechanical Equipment’s

Procurement Reference Number: – NCB/SCWSSSE/01/2018

Sheger City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise invite competitive bidders for the procurement of Electromechanical Equipment’s.

1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all eligible bidders as specified and defined in the bidding document

2. Bid is open for all eligible bidders fulfilling the following criteria:

• Renewed trade license, registered for VAT, Tax payer together with written application and Tax clearance certificate which states that the bidder is eligible to participate in any public tender and valid at least at the dead line for submission of the bids,
• Registered supplier under Public Procurement & Property Administration Agency /egp.ppa.gov.et  
• Bidder should attach all necessary test certificates listed in the bid document.
• Bidders shall submit the documents as described in ITB
• No Poor/bad performances record for the last Five consecutive years

3. Interested eligible bidders can purchase the bid document as of days begin from the first announcement date of this notice on newspaper during working days from Sheger City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise Office by paying non-refundable fee Birr 2000 (Two thousand birr only)

4. The identification of Lots in the Bidding Documents is:-

5. Bids must be accomplished by the bid security 1% of the offered total price in the form of unconditional bank guarantee or CPO on or before 21 consecutive working days starting from the 1st announcement day upto 4:00 am local time closing date at the address specified below.

6. The bid security (CPO) shall be wax Sealed, stamped and signed in separate envelope marked “Bid security”.

7. Bids will be opened on the same date of bid closing at 4:30am local time at Sheger City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise office. If there will be public holiday the closing and opening day of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and place. Late bids will be rejected.

8. Technical bid documents will be opened on the bid opening date and time in the presence of the bidders or bidders’ representatives’ who choose to attend at the address mentioned below and financial bid document is opened after technical evaluation notifications.

9. Bidders attempting to influence the bid shall be disqualified from the bid and the bid security deposited by them shall be forfeited.

10. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and clarification from Sheger City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise.

11. The enterprise reserves the right to reject any or all of bids.
