Invitation to Bid-National Competitive Bid (NCB)

The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute, Amhara Agricultural Transformation Centre (AATC) is inviting eligible bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Bread Baking Machine with Fermentation Proffer and Supply and Delivery of Chips Fraying Machine.

Bidders must present renewed trade License, Taxpayer Registration Certificate and VAT registration certificate when submitting their offer.

1. Beginning from the first announcement date on the newspaper, interested bidders can obtain the bidding document upon payment of non-refundable fee of ETB 200.00 /Two Hundred/ from Amhara Agricultural Transformation Center (AATC) at Bahir Dar, Aregawin Building 2nd Floor or from Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute Addis Ababa, Bole: off Mescal Flower Road, in front of Commercial Graduates’ Association at 3rd floor.
2. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of unconditional bank guarantee or CPO, and the bid security shall remain valid for the days indicated in the Bid doc. There are Two Lots, and the amount of bid security for LOT One is ETB 50,000 (Fifty Thousand birr) and For LOT Two ETB 30,000 (Thirty Thousand birr).
3. The bid documents should be submitted in one original and one copy. “Original Technical Document” and “Copy of Technical Document” respectively, and the two envelopes shall then be sealed in an outer envelope marked: “Technical Document”. Similarly, the original and copies of the financial documents shall be sealed in separate envelopes and marked “Original Financial Document” and “Copy of Financial Document” respectively, and the two envelopes shall then be sealed in an outer envelope marked: “Financial Document”. Then the technical and financial documents shall then be sealed in mother envelope marked with the name of the Bidder and project. All envelopes shall then be sealed. All bids shall be delivered to Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute, Amhara Agricultural Transformation Centre before the bid clothing date and time.
4.  Bid closing date shall be September 19, 2025, G.C at 3:30 PM in the afternoon and will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their legal representative at the office of Amhara Agricultural Transformation Centre Kebele 14 Aregawiyan Building 2nd floor Conference Room on the same date at 4:00 PM in the afternoon. If the bid opening date is a holiday, the closing and opening of the bid will be the next working day at the same time and at the same venue.
5. Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute, A Amhara Agricultural Transformation center (ATI-AATC) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid, and to annul the bidding process.
6. Bidders are strictly advised that they must read and comply in full of the ‘Instruction to Bidders’.
