Invitation to Tender

Bid Announcement No. SSNT-T572

Ethiopian Airlines Group invites competent and qualified Category I Consultants for Master Plan and Design Review, Contract Administration and Construction Supervision of Lot-I: EAU Student Dormitories & Associated Facilities and Lot-II: EAG School Projects.

The consultancy of the works shall be completed within 365 Calendar days for Lot I and 300 Calendar days for Lot-II from the commencement of the work.

Hence, ETG invites all interested and eligible Bidders who can meet the requirements stated hereunder:

1. Consultants should be locally registered by the Ministry of Construction to execute the work and have license valid for year 2017 E.C (Ethiopian Calendar).

2. Consultants should be able to submit VAT & TAX Registration and TAX clearance certificates.

3. Bidders should be registered for the year 2017 E.C renewed Certificate of Competency as Category-1 Consulting Firm in the field of Building Engineering by mandated government body.

4. Bidding will be conducted through a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure and is open to all competitive bidders as specified and defined in the Bidding Documents.

5. Bidders should deposit non-refundable ETB 100.00 (One Hundred Birr) to the nearby Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) branch referring this tender number SSNT-T572 to Ethiopian Airlines Group Account Number 1000006958277(E-99). Bidders shall email the scanned copy of the deposit slip to the address below and will get the tender document by the return email.

6. All Bidders should submit bid security of ETB 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Birr) for the total project in the form of CPO or unconditional and irrevocable bank guarantee from banks in the name of “Ethiopian Airlines Group”. Any insurance and conditional guarantee shall not be accepted.

The sealed bid document must be submitted in separate envelopes i.e., the (Technical Proposal, Financial Offer and Bid Security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” document delivered to Ethiopian Airlines Group, Strategic Sourcing Non-Technical section before/on September 24, 2025, at 03:00 PM. The bid will be opened on the same date at 03:30 PM, at Ethiopian Airlines Group Head office Addis Ababa, at the Bid opening Room in the presence of those interested bidders or their legal representatives.
