About the Project
A new 12-month initiative aims to improve access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services for young women aged 18-25 in Addis Ababa. The project will develop and implement a digital health platform and community-based outreach program to provide accurate SRHR information, confidential teleconsultation services, and linkages to youth-friendly facilities.
Call for Proposals
GPAC invites qualified software development firms to design, implement, and evaluate a digital SRHR platform and awareness and education activities. The project will directly reach 10,000 young women and benefit the wider community through improved access to quality SRHR services.
Interested firms must demonstrate:
- Experience implementing digital health or SRHR programs in Ethiopia.
- Technical capacity for mobile and web platform development or customization.
- Established relationships with healthcare providers in Addis Ababa.
- A proven track record of successful youth engagement and community mobilization.
- Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting capabilities aligned with donor standards.
Scope of Work
The selected firm will be responsible for one o following components:
- Digital Platform Development: Design and deploy an interactive, youth-friendly SRHR digital platform (mobile and web).
- Capacity Building: Develop and deliver SRHR training for partner clinics and pharmacies.
- Community Engagement: Conduct SRHR education sessions and digital campaigns targeting youth.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Develop tools, conduct surveys, and measure project impact.
- Communications: Create outreach materials and manage digital awareness campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- A legally registered software development firm with at least 5 years of experience in SRHR, digital health, or related fields.
- Demonstrated capacity in ICT platform design, public health programming, and project management.
- Proven experience in youth and gender-focused initiatives.
- Multidisciplinary team with expertise in public health, ICT, communication, and M&E.
