INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (ICB)

PROCUREMENT REFERENCE NUMBER AB/IT/04/2025/26.

1. Awash Bank invites sealed bids from interested bidders for the supply and implementation of goods listed hereunder.

2. A complete set of bidding documents in English shall be obtained from the Procurement Division of Awash Bank located at Awash Towers, 12th floor, upon producing a receipt of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 (five hundred) for each lot by depositing it in Account Number 01540000544500 at AWASH BANK, FINFINE, located at the Bank’s Head Quarter Building (Awash Tower), ground floor, during office hours (Monday to Friday 8:00AM-12:00PM and 1:00PM-4:30PM and Saturday 8:00AM-12:00PM) upon presentation of a copy of the renewed trade license, certificate of registration, tax clearance certification, VAT registration certificate, and TIN registration certificate for local bidders.

3. The bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amount of: –

• For LOT-1 birr 5,000,000.00 (Five million) for local bidders or equivalent amount USD 35,000.00 (Thirty-five thousand USD) for foreign bidders.
• For LOT-2 birr 1,000,000.00 (One million) for local bidders or equivalent amount USD 7,000.00 (Seven thousand USD) for foreign bidders.

4. Bid bond must be in the form of a bank guarantee or cashier’s payment order (C.P.O.) in favor of Awash International Bank S.C. from a) Citibank N.A. New York, b) Citi Bank N.A. London, c) Commerzbank A.G., d) Deutsche Bank A.G., e) National Westminster Bank, f) ING Bank Amsterdam, g) any other AAA bank acceptable to Awash Bank, or h) any local bank. The bank guarantee issued by any international (foreign) bidders must be counter-guaranteed by a local bank and valid for 180 days from the last date of submission of the bid.

5. The details of the Bid are as follows:

5.6	Bid opening shall be held at the office of Procurement & Supplies Management Directorate located at Awash Towers 12th floor in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who wish to attend on:-	Date:- 20th November 2025 Time:-at 2:30 P.M for Lot-1          at 3:00 P.M for Lot-2
5.7	Validity of Bid	150 days from the date of opening the technical Bid/last date of submission of bid.

7. Failure to comply any of the conditions from item 2 to 6.5 above shall entail automatic rejection.

8. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject the bid either partially or fully.
