The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) is an initiative of the Government of Ethiopia (GOE) established by federal regulation. ATI is currently engaged in promoting agricultural sector transformation by supporting existing structures of government, the private sector, and other non-governmental partners to address systemic bottlenecks and deliver on a priority national agenda to achieve growth and food security. ATI is looking for professional service from reputable consultants to submit proposals (EOI) for Hiring of a Consultant for Development of Smart Agricultural Input Sourcing System.

The overarching goal of the Smart Input Sourcing System is to streamline and digitize agricultural input procurement, tracking, payment, and distribution processes through Agricultural One Stop Shops (AOSS). By leveraging technology-driven solutions, the system aims to eliminate inefficiencies, enhance transparency, and improve accessibility for importers, distributors, AOSSS, farmers, and other stakeholders. This will create a more efficient and sustainable agricultural input supply chain, address critical challenges such as logistical bottlenecks, information gaps, and payment delays while optimizing regional input distribution networks. Expression of interest will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures specified in public procurement directive. All eligible companies are invited to participate. Interested eligible companies shall submit expressions of interest to Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) in One copy by indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Description of Core Business & years in business, Relevant Experience in the field of assignment, Technical & managerial capabilities, Profile of key personnel). Companies that would like to participate in association shall indicate the form of association specifically as sub-consultancy or joint Venture.

Expressions of interest shall be delivered to the address below at or before October 29,2025, at 2:00 P.M. late submissions shall be rejected.

ATI reserves the right to cancel the procurement process at any time without thereby incurring any liability to the affected applicants or any obligations to inform the affected applicants of the ground for ATI’s action.
