Qualitative Assessment of Community-Level and Service Delivery Gaps on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Response in Afor Region (Bidu and Aldera Woredas)

Under the project “Addressing Malnutrition and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Crisis-Affected Woredas of Afar Regional State” by the Ethiopia Humanitarian Fund (EHF).

Background:

Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a national civil society organization working to promote the wellbeing of children, youth, and women across Ethiopia. DEC seeks to hire a qualified consulting firm or individual consultant to conduct a qualitative assessment that explores community-level attitudes, practices, and barriers to gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response service delivery.

Objective of the Assignment:

The assessment aims to generate in-depth qualitative data to inform GBV programming, coordination, and survivor-centered service delivery in the target areas.

Who Can Apply:

Interested and qualified individual consultants or firms with relevant academic background and proven experience in GBV or protection-related assessments, particularly in humanitarian or pastoralist contexts, are encouraged to apply.
