Sidama Region Road Development and Transport Bureau hereby invite sealed bids from interested and eligible Grade 3 and below consultants for the procurement of the following Projects.

 1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Open Bidding (NCB) procedure as specified in the Regional Government Public Procurement Directive and is open to all bidders.

2. Companies who can participate in the bid must have Grade-3 and below consultants License, VAT Certificate, Tax Clearance certificate valid for the bid submission deadline, registration certificate as a consultants in the list of PPA. Documents evidencing these requirements have to be submitted together with the bid documents for evaluation purposes.

3. Bidders can purchase the bid documents from Sidama Region Road Development and Transport Bureau [Finance Directorate first floor,] upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1000 (one thousand Ethiopian Birr) for each project without the need for presenting the legal documents and only by filling and putting the bidder’s official stamp on the application form available in the bid selling address mentioned here below.

4. The bid documents comprising one original and three copies of the technical and financial proposal should be submitted in two envelopes separately, the first envelope leveled as “TECHNICAL PROPOSAL” and the second envelope “FINANCIAL PROPOSAL” and the two envelopes sealed in another outer envelope.

5. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before [the 10^th working day starting from notice on the newspaper. If the 10th day is not a working day the bid submission will be on the next working day. The time will be the same time & 12:00 PM]. The envelopes will be opened immediately after the bid submission deadline in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend in Sidama Region Road Development and Transport Bureau 1st floor. (10 days are working days)

6. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security ETB 50,000 (fifty thousand Ethiopian birr) and & this bid security shall remain in force up to [90+28 days] in the form of Certified Cheque, Cashier’s Payment Order (C.P.O.) or Unconditional Bank Guarantee issued by recognized by local bank.

7. Bids shall be valid for [90] days after bid opening date.

8. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the address below from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
