INVITATION FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is an International NGO, authorized and registered in accordance with the Ethiopian government regulation and operational in Ethiopia since 1982 implementing relief and multi-sectoral development projects in different regions of Ethiopia. ADRA Ethiopia invites interested and eligible external audit firms to submit their technical and financial proposals for the provision of audit services of its accounts as of and for the year ended 31 December 2025.

Important Information

1. The Audit firm will be based in ADRA Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa office and when need visits to the project site logistics may be facilitated by ADRA Ethiopia upon request.

2. The Audit firm commencement date should be 15th February 2026 and submission of the 2025 audit reports should not be later than 15th March 2026.

3. The Audit firm must be registered with the Office of Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia and should have renewed competency certificate from AABE for the current year (Individual and Firm certificate).

4. The Audit firm must have solid experience working with International not for profit non-governmental organizations (INGOS) for at least 5 years or more. Prior Audit experience in Audited organizations that Use SUN PLUS computerized accounting software system will be an added advantage.

5. The Audit firm should provide TIN, VAT and renewed Trade License (Business Registration) that are valid for the current year (2018 E.C).

6. The audit firm should provide a company profile and professional CV of the Audit Manager and other key staffs.

7. The audit firm should state clearly in its technical proposal the approaches and methodology which it is using during audit.

8. ADRA Ethiopia reserves the right to cancel part or the entire bid.

Note: Please be informed that your price quotation will remain fixed for the contract period of three (3) years (Year 2025 to Year 2027).

Interested Audit firms are invited to submit their bid documents (technical and financial proposal) which include supporting documents for the above criteria within 5 working days from the date of this announcement. Please submit your sealed bid documents (technical and financial proposals) in person to ADRA Ethiopia’s Country office.
