IFB Title Small Works Contract-Deep-water Well Drilling, Installation of Casing, Observation Pipes, Gravel Packing, Well Development & Pumping Test. National Competitive Bidding (NCB)

1. Alem Gebeya Town Administration Mayor Offices has allocated funds towards the drilling of Alem Gebeya/Menzo Gumbi Deep Water Well Drilling projects which will be disbursed according to the Ethiopia Fiscal Year.

Alem GebeyaTown Administration Mayor Offices now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Alem Gebeya/Menzo Gumbi Small Works, Construction of one deep water well drilling, installation of casing & observa- tion pipe, gravel packing, well development and pumping test Project in Central Ethiopia Regional States, Siltie Zone, and Alem Gebeya Town Administrations.

 2. The Works consist of One deep well drilling, Supply and install of casing & observation pipe, well sorted river gravel packing, well development, pumping test (all types of pump tests, like pro- visional, variable, constant & recovery tests) 6 m well grouting, Construc- tion of standard well head/0.75*0.75*1m/ & well capping of Alem Gebeya/ Menzo Gumbi deep water well drilling Projects.

3. Bids shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening.

4. Bids must be accompanied by bid security of 100,000 Birr in the form of bank guarantee, CPO, cash, or any other valid security and shall remain valid for 120 days.

5. Bidders must obtain registration for category WWDC3 and above with valid license for the current year.

6. Qualification requirement include: 1/ ownership and/or existing lease of relevant equipment and machinery (one rig, one Dump truck, One Service Car, crane welding machine, generator (125 k v and above) riser pipe (2.5 inch and above pump and dip meter etc. 2/ Spe- cific experience of at least one project in water works construction of similar nature and complexity. 3/ availability of relevant experienced personnel as provided in the bidding document with others additional details.

7. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and copies of necessary renewed licenses with originals from Alem Gebeya Town Administration Finance Of- fices, Alem Gebeya Town, Mobile number 09-08-19-14-58/09-12-71-97- 62/09-16-26-86-13 up on payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 400.00 for each document.

8. Bids must be delivered to Alem GebeyaTown Administration Finance Offices, Room number 10, Alem Gebeya Town, Telephone number +251-09-08-19-14-58, +251-09-12-71-97-62, +251-09-16-26-86-13 on the 21st calander of consecutive days counted from the day the bid posted on Ethiopian Herald at 2:00 p.m. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

9. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’/ their representatives who choose to attend in person at 2:30 p.m. on the last submission date at Alem GebeyaTown Administration Finance Offices, Alem Gebeya Town.

10. Bidder must provide a complete set of one original technical and financial Proposal & two copy together with the bid document 1 original & 2copy respectively.

11. The Alem Gebeya Town Administration Finance Offices reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
