  • Vendor must be Gartner Leader (Wired/Wireless Network Infrastructure)

    The switches, wireless and firewall vendor proposed by the bidder for network infrastructure solutions must be a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant (2025) in enterprise wired and wireless infrastructure.

  • Site survey and detailed implementation plan

    Bidders must conduct a site survey and submit detailed high-level design and implementation plans covering the full solution scope.

  • Specify Brand, Model, and Part Numbers

    Bidders must specify brand, model and part number for items and subcomponents of switches, firewall, wireless access point, wireless controller, cables, patch panel and UPS.

  • Manufacturer Authorization Form (MAF)

    The bidder must provide Manufacturer Authorization Forms for active devices, cables, patch panel and UPS. To verify the authenticity of the Manufacturer Authorization Letter, the manufacturer must send the letter with a carbon copy (CC) to ppmd@hu.edu.et and ictd@hu.edu.et

    The sender’s email address must use the official manufacturer’s domain.

  • Unpriced Bill of Material (BoM) in Tech Proposal

    The bidder must submit a Bill of Material (BoM) without price in the technical proposal; omission leads to rejection.

 Hawassa University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
 Each Bidder shall bring the Bid security to Hawassa University Main Campus, Procurement Executive Office before 2 days the bid closing!
 Bidders shall attach Catalogue of the equipment/Materials they bring to install as per the details specifications. It is mandatory!
 Bidders shall take care of not only matching the Documents they shall have prepared complying with our specification but also the quality of the Materials technically acceptable which is seen at delivery time by technical evaluators.
 Each bidder shall prepare & submit all the materials needed & specified in the BOQ attached at specific requirement Schedule of requirement
