INVITATION FOR BIDS

EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

Compassion International Ethiopia (CIE) is a US-based charitable organization  registered under and Societies Proclamation with registration #0569 to  Work on Releasing Children from property. It has been working in Ethiopia since 1993. We want to invite authorized audit firms to participate in the hid to perform an external audit of our accounts for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, as per the audit requirements of the Charities and Societies Authority Accounts of the organization are ready to be audited and should be commenced upon notification of the winner.

The audit will be conducted at the office of Compassion International Ethiopia, located at Bole Sub City next to Skylight Hotel.

Interested and competent bidders are invited to participate in the bid.

Requirements:

1. The audit firm should be registered and licensed by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) and classified under “Grade A”
2. The audit firm must have solid experience of auditing NGOs of similar sizes.
3. The audit firm should provide TIN, VAT, and business registrations that have all been renewed, valid licenses for the current fiscal year from the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia, and other legal documents
4. The audit firm should provide a company profile and professionals CV with approved relevant certifications
5. The bidder must submit the audit work’s completion time.

Applicants are advised to assess the volume of financial documents during office hours (Monday- Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Interested audit firms should submit their expression of interest and audit fees in sealed envelopes to our office within five working days following this announcement. Bid documents need to be submitted at the reception of the CIE office located at the following address.;
