INVITATION TO BID

The Ethiopian Railways Corporation invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified suppliers for the Procurement of concert Mixer 750 Liter Machinery and Installation as per the specifications provided in the bidding documents.

2. Eligible Requirements

1. VAT Registration Certificate

2. Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate

3. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate

4. Renewed Trade License for the year 2018 E.C.

5. Proof of registration in the Federal Public Procurement Authority (FPPA) Suppliers List

6. A copy of the purchase receipt for tender papers must be attached. Bidders that do not purchase the tender document and do not include a copy of their receipt will be disqualified from the tender.

Failure to submit any of the above documents may result in disqualification.

3. Bid Document Purchase and Information

complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder in person from ERC Headquarters, Office No 32 (Cashier’s Office).

4. Bid Security

All bidders must furnish a bid security in the form of a Certified Payment Order (CPO) or unconditional bank guarantee issued by a bank recognized by the National Bank of Ethiopia, in the amounts specified for Bids. The bid security shall remain valid for 30 days beyond the bid validity period. and must be addressed to the Employer.

5. Submission and Opening of Bids

Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to: ERC Headquarters, a hall at the Block No. 10. Submission period: From the date of announcement on Reporter Newspaper until May 15, 2026 G.C. at 10:00 AM (in the morning)

Bld opening: On the same day (May 15, 2026 G.C) at 10:30 AM (in the morning) in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.

1. If the submission date falls on a non-working day, submission and opening shall take place on the next working day at the same time. 

2. Bids shall remain valid for a period of 58 calendar days from the date of bid opening.

3. Bidders must submit separate Sealed Envelopes for: Eligibility Documents, Technical Proposal, and Financial Proposal.

4. Late bids shall be rejected

5. All forms in the bid documents must be properly filled, signed, and stamped.

6. Prices shall include 15% VAT.

7. The Ethiopian Railways Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive minor deviations, or to cancel the bidding process at any time without incurring any liability.
