Notice of Invitation for National Re-Bid

Bid Announcement No. SSNT-T 614

Ethiopian Airlines Group intends to invite interested and qualified bidders with Category 2 General and Road contractors GC-2/RC-2 for the Design-Build of Emergency Access Road Construction at Kombolcha and Bahir Dar Airports. Two projects:

• Project 1-Bahirdar Airport and
• Project 2-Kombolcha Airport.

The bid is open to all local and international bidders which have local trade license to participate on national competitive bids and any legally established bidders in Ethiopia with renewed Trade License for the current year (2025-2026), Valid Tax clearance, VAT registration certificate, Tax Payer Identification Certificate (TIN) & Tax clearance certificate stating the bidder is eligible to participate in any public tender and valid at least at the deadline for submission of bids can get the tender document.

Bidders should deposit non-refundable ETB 200.00 (Two Hundred Birr) to the nearby Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) referring this tender number SSNT-T614 to Ethiopian Airlines Group Account Number 1000006958277(E-99). Bidders shall email the scanned copy of the deposit slip, project title with tender number and detail contact address of the company to the below address and will get the Tender document by return Email.

Bidders shall furnish bid security in the form of CPO or unconditional and irrevocable bank guarantee with an amount of Five Hundred Thousand Birr (ETB 500,000.00) in the name of Ethiopian Airlines Group. Any insurance and conditional guarantee shall not be accepted.

Bids shall be valid for a period of 150 calendar days after tender opening. Ethiopian Airlines Group has the right to request the Bidder to extend the validity period of the proposal for an additional day.

The design and construction of the works shall be completed within 180 calendar days from the commencement of the work for each project.

Bidders must submit their sealed bid documents in separate envelopes i.e., the (Technical Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one outer envelope duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” document delivered to Ethiopian Airlines, Strategic Sourcing Non-Technical section on June 8, 2026, at 2:30 P.M. The bid will be opened on the same date at 3:00 P.M, at Ethiopian Airlines Group head office, bid opening room in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
