INVITATION TO TENDER FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

1. Background

ChildFund Ethiopia is an INGO dedicated to improving the well- being of children and families experiencing deprivation, exclusion and vulnerability. We create positive and lasting change in communities through partnerships with local organizations, implementing three core programs focused on education, health, and livelihoods. These programs aim to achieve tangible outcomes: healthy and secure infants, educated and confident children, and skilled and engaged youth.

ChildFund Ethiopia hereby invites eligible and qualified suppliers to submit sealed tenders for the supply of New Electric Vehicles, in accordance with the specification details, Instructions to Bidders, and General Terms and Conditions of Purchase described below.

 2. Eligibility Requirements

Interested bidders must submit the following documents: 

• Valid and renewed Business License (E.C. 2018) pa
• VAT Registration Certificate
• Taxpayer Identification Certificate (TIN)
• Company profile indicating address, branch offices, structure, and available resources
• Evidence of satisfactory past performance in supplying similar vehicles

3. Terms and Condition

Payment shall be made after submission and verification of full vehicle documentation, in accordance with ChildFund Ethiopia payment procedures.

4. Contract Award

The successful bidder shall enter into a contract agreement with ChildFund Ethiopia for the supply of the vehicle(s) upon receipt of an authorized Purchase Order.

5. Tender Submission Instructions

Bidders must submit:

• Original tender documents
• Financial proposal submitted separately
• Official company seal on all documents
• Proposed delivery time clearly stated in the offer
• Sealed envelope clearly marked with:
• Bidder’s Name and Address
  • Tender Reference Number
  • Tender Title

6. Delivery Time

The bidder must clearly indicate the delivery schedule/ lead time from the date of Purchase Order issuance. Preference may be given to suppliers offering the shortest reasonable delivery period.
