Invitation for Bid

1. South Ethiopia Regional State Wolaita Zone Finance and Plan Department collaborating with Wolaita zone Water and energy Department hereby invites wax sealed bid, from qualified and eligible Bidders class described below Experienced in water Supply projects for construction of Water supply fluoride Treatment plant project stated as Below;

2. Bidders should present renewed and valid business license (for 2018 E. C), registration certificate for VAT, TIN, and Tax Clearance letter, Evidence for Registration of PPA/EGP, Renewed and valid Grade License water works Registration certificate (For 2018 E.C).

3. Bidders shall obtain bid documents upon payment of non-refundable birr 500.00 for each document from Wolaita Zone Finance and Plan Department.

4. Bids shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of Bid opening.

5. Bids should be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 400,000.00/ Four Hundred Thousand Birr/ in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid and open for a period of 90 days after the date of bid opening. Insurance bond is not acceptable.

6. Bidders are invited to submit financial and technical proposals original and copy enclosed in one Mother closed & sealed envelope, the number of copies of both financial & technical documents are Two.

7. Bids must be submited/ delivered to wolaita zone finance and plan department; Procurement and Property Adm. Main work Process, Wolaita sodo, at or before 2:30 p.m (8:30 afternoon at local time) on 28th calendar day’s from the date of this announcement on Ethiopian Herald News Paper/National news letter. If the 28th day is not working day or the date of National holiday, the bid submission will be on the next working day at the same time and venue. Electronic bidding will not be permitted, late bids will be rejected.

8. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their authorized representatives at the last date of bid submission, at 3:00 p.m (9:00 afternoon at local time) at Wolaita Zone Finance and Plan Department; Procurement and Property Adm. Main work Process.

9. The Departments (wolaita zone water and energy & wolaita zone finance and plan departments) reserves the right to reject all or parts of the bid.
