Construction of 2B+G+13+T Apartment Building

Taza Housing Cooperative Association

Taza Housing Cooperative Association invites eligible and qualified contractors to participate in an open bid for the construction of a 2 Basement + Ground + 13 Floors + Terrace apartment building located in Addis Ababa. Kality Sub-City, Woreda 07. Site 6.4.

1. Contractors must hold a valid Category Ill above General Contractor (GC) or/and Category Il Building Contractor (BC) license.

2. Interested bidders shall provide the following evidences

• Renewed Business license for 2018 E.C
• Tax clearance certificate valid at the deadline for submission of bids;
• VAT registration certificate;
• Commercial registration certificate
• Registration in the Federal Public Procurement and Property Authority (FPPPA) suppliers’ list.
•  Renewed Certificate of registration from Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure or other appropriate regional bureaus as Grade Ill for GC and Grade II for BC and above

 3. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 500,000 (Five hundred Thousand)-in the form of CPO or unconditional Bank Guarantee valid for 180 days.

4. Bidders shall submit an envelope of “Technical Proposal” separately sealed with its Two copy and “Financial Offer” separately sealed with its Two copy.

5. Bid documents can be obtained by any interested eligible bidders up on submission of a written application and payment of non-refundable birr 2000 (Two Thousand) deposited to association commercial bank account 1000556507547 (Taza yegara menoriya betoch h/y/h/s) and submitting bank advice to Taza Housing Cooperative Association email address: tazahousinglimitedcoop@gmail.com 

6.  Bidders failed to submit their proposal for both lot which is Lot 1 Labor plus material work and Lot 2 Labor only Work will result automatic rejection

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below before May 20, 2026 at 8:00 o’clock local time and will be opened on the same date at 8:30 o’clock local time in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.  8. It is understood that all documents, calculations, etc. which may form part of your proposal will become the property of the Association who will not be required to return them to your firm.

 10. The association reserves the right to publish the details of awards; including supplier name and country, total Contract value and a brief description of the works or services. In all cases. unsuccessful bidders will be notified.

11. The association reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders at any time without assigning any reason.
