Invitation to bid

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society BG Branch invites sealed bid from eligible and qualified supplier with their renewed trade license for the year 2018E.C., registration certificate, Tax identification & VAT/TOT Registration Certificates, supplier’s registration certificate: and currently Tax clearance and All bidders must fill, sign & seal declaration and the Anti-Bribery Pledge form for the bid procurement of office supply Equipment procurement as listed below.

2. Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding document against a non-refundable payment of ETB 400 (Four Hundred Birr) from ERCS BG Branch Logistics Department Procurement Unit; Assosa. Located in front of Semhal hotel.

3. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopian Red Cross Society along with a BID SECURITY (BID BOND) in acceptable Forms (CPO OR UNCONDITIONAL BANK GUARANTEE ONLY) SPECIFIED IN THE BIDDING DATA SHEET amounting to 2% of the bid offer (Including VAT 15%), on separate envelope. The CPO should be valid for 30 days after bid validity.

4. The bidder shall submit mother envelop sealed bidding document with enclose one big sealed envelope of TECHNICAL/Legal documents and FINANCIAL OFFER and both shall be produced in separate sealed envelopes labelled as ORIGINAL and COPY. The four envelopes including the CPO shallthen be sealed in and signed outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopian Red Cross Society whose address is mentioned below.

5. Bid will be closed on 15th consecutive calendar days of this announcement which May 25, 2026 will be closed at 2:20pm afternoon and will be opened on the same day May 25,2026 at 2:30pm all lots in the presence of those bidders on their authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event at ERCS BG Branch Office. Assosa.

6. Failure to comply with the conditions from No.1 to 5 above may result in an automatic rejection.

7. Ethiopian Red Cross Society reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without fixing any reason thereof..

8. ERCS reserves the right to compare the lowest price item by item

9. The bidders are recommended to submit tender for all Items listed in the specifications.

10. The bidder, If you win, may require you to provide a current QR Code receipt or cash register machine receipt, otherwise a manual receipt will not be accepted.

NB: If there are disputes, they will be resolved by the ERCS procurement manual Regulation
