INVITATION TO BID

1. The Ethiopian Red Cross Society BG Branch invites sealed bid from eligible and qualified supplier with their renewed trade license for the year 2018E.C., registration certificate. Tax Identification & VAT/TOT Registration Certificates, supplier’s registration certificate and currently valid tax clearance and All bidders must fill, sign & seal Declaration of conformity for the bid procurement of Environmental hygiene materials, water purification chemical, PPE and office furniture’s as listed below.

2.Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of one lot or more than one bidding document against a non-refundable payment of ETB 400 (four Hundred Birr) for each LOT from ERCS BG Branch Logistics Department Procurement Unit: Assosa. Located in front of Semhal hotel.

3. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopian Red Cross Society along with a BID SECURITY (BID BOND) in acceptable Forms (CPO Only) SPECIFIED IN THE BIDDING DATA SHEET amounting to 2% of the bid offer (Grand Total), on separate envelope. The CPO should be valid for 60 days after bid validity.

4.The bidder shall submit mother envelop sealed bidding document with enclose one big sealed envelope of TECHNICAL/Legal documents and FINANCIAL OFFER and both shall be produced in separate sealed envelopes labeled as ORIGINAL and COPY. The four envelopes including the CPO shall then be sealed in and signed outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopian Red Cross Society whose address is mentioned below.

5. Bid will be closed on 15th consecutive calendar days of this announcement and bid will be closed on May 20, 2026 at 2:20 PM and bid will be opened on the same day Wed May 20,2026 at 2:30pm the bid in the presence of those bidders on their authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event at ERCS BG Branch Office, Assosa

6.Failure to comply with the conditions from No.1 to 4 above may result in an automatic rejection.ma

7.The bidder shall submit the sample of each item (mandatory) if the sample is necessary.

8. Ethiopian Red Cross Society reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without fixing any reason thereof.

9. ERCS reserves the right to compare the lowest price item by item..

10. The bidder, If you win, may require you to provide a current QR Code receipt or cash register machine receipt, otherwise a manual receipt will not be accepted.

11. If the 15th consecutive calendar day’s day is a holiday, closing and opening will be the next working day.
