International Competitive Bidding (ICB) for the Construction of Nyala Insurance SC Headquarters Project External Curtain Wall and Related Works

1. Nyala Insurance S.C invites eligible contractors who have Grade I license for water well drilling from the Ethiopian Construction Authority to submit their Proposal for 350m+20% water well drilling and water supply system to be installed at Nyala Insurance S.C future head quarter, located in Kirkos Sub-city, Bole Road (Africa Avenue), adjacent to Olympia roundabout, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia..

2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Open tendering procedures contained in the Directives of the Nyala Insurance S.C and other Relevant Laws of the country, and is open to all eligible bidders.

3. A complete set of bidding document in English to be collected by the bidders starting from May 13,2026 upon payment of nonrefundable birr 500.00 at working hours from Nyala Insurance S.C. Business Support Service Office P.O.Box 12753, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Telephone No: +251 11 662 6707; Fax No: +251 11 662 6706; E-mail: nisco@nyalainsurancesc.com., upon Presentation of copy of renewed Trade license, Certificate of registration, Tax Clearance Certificate, VAT Registration Certificate and TIN Registration Certificate. during working hours (Monday to Friday 8:00AM-12:00PM and 1:00PM-4:30 PM)

4. Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond amount of birr 500,000.00 (Five hundred thousand) or equivalent amount in an acceptable form expressed in a freely convertible currency, in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee in the form provided in the Bid Document payable to the Employer at the first demand without any contestation whatsoever, and must be submitted at the address of Nyala Insurance SC Business Support Service Office.

5. The Bid comprising of technical and financial document must be delivered in separate sealed envelopes as Original & Copy of the document to the address given below on or before June 09, 2026 at 10:00 All copies of the Bids shall be submitted in separate envelopes i.e., the (Technical Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” both for the “The Technical Proposal” and “Financial Offer”. The bid security shall be part of the technical offer but in a separately sealed envelope.

6. Technical proposals bid opening shall be held on June 09, 2026 at 10:30 AM in the in the above mentioned address.

7. Bid Validity is 90 days starting from technical bid opening

8. Bid security shall be valid for 120 days starting from technical bid opening

9. Nyala Insurance S.C. reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to alter, amend or cancel this request if deemed to be of the interest, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.

11. Failure to comply any of the conditions from item 2 to 8 above shall entail automatic rejection.
