1. The Amhara National Regional State Bureau of Agriculture has received Grant fund from the World Bank (WB) toward the cost of Developmental Response to Displacement Impacts Project-II (DRDIP-II) and it intends to apply part of the fund to payments under the contract for Procurement of Small Scale Irrigation sub 

2.The Amhara National Regional State Bureau of Agriculture invite sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Following Small Scale Irrigation Construction Projects:

4. Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the world Banks Procurement Guideline: procurement under IBRD Loans/Grant and IDA credits (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guideline.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Amhara National Regional State Bureau of Agriculture Developmental Response to Displacement Impact Project- Phase II (DRDIP-II) Coordination Unit and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30 A.M to 5:30 PM local time of official working days.

6. The bid is open to all eligible bidders fulfilling the following requirements:-

6.1. The bidder must possess a construction license of WWC – 5 and above that has been renewed for the budget year 2018 E.C.

6.2. A Certificates of Registration at the Ministry of Water Irrigation and Energy as well as Regional line Bureaus for the year 2018 E.C.

6.3. Copies of TAX clearance for the year 2018 E.C, and VAT registration certificate, and TIN number must be presented for the procurement of the Bid documents.

7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English will be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1,500.00 (One Thousand five hundred birr only).

8. One original and two copies of Technical and Financial Bids sealed separately and enclosed in one mother envelop in accordance with the requirements presented in the Bid data sheet and the Bidders should submit to the address below, on 30 calendar days from the date of the request is published on Ethiopian herald News Paper before 4:00 A.M local time.

9. The Bid will be opened in the morning at 4:30 A.M (local time) in the presence of Bidders or representatives who choose to attend at Development response to displacement Impacts Project-II(DRDIP-II) Regional Coordination Unit office on 31st consecutive days.

If the 31″ is not working day, the next working day shall be the bid opening day with same indicated time above. Late submission of the bid shall be rejected.

10. The bids shall be valid for 60+30= 90 days after bid opening.

11. The maximum Completion time for the projects construction is Nine (9) months

12. The ANRS Bureau of Agriculture reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bids.
