• Financial Resources

  The Bidder must demonstrate access to, or availability of, financial resources such as liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means, other than any contractual advance payments to meet the cash-flow requirement ETB 2,000,000.00 (Two million).

  Bidder has failed to provide in the Bidder Certification of Compliance Form information about contracts similar to the proposed Works in the number, value, and period

• Number of staff

  At least 2 staff currently work for the Bidder.

• History of non-performing contracts

  Non-performance of a contract did not occur within the last 5 years prior to the deadline for Bid submission, based on all information on fully settled disputes or litigation. A fully settled dispute or litigation is one that has been resolved in accordance with the Dispute Resolution Mechanism under the respective contract, and where all appeal instances available to the bidder have been exhausted. Bidder Should submitted his supportive evidence.

• Pending litigation

  All pending litigation shall in total not represent more than 5 percent of the Bidder’s net worth and shall be treated as resolved against the Bidder. Bidder Should submit his supportive evidence. A consistent history of litigation or arbitration awards against the Applicant or any partner of a Joint Venture may result in disqualification.

• Average Annual turnover

  Average Annual turnover calculated as total certified construction work payments received for contracts in progress or completed within the past Five years (2013-2017) EC must exceed ETB 1,500,000 (One million five hundred thousand).

  Two years firm experience in Construction Sector as Contractor, Sub contractor and Joint Venture.

• Valid trade license and business organization registration certificate

  Having been submitted valid trade license or business organization registration certificate issued by the country of establishment in accordance with ITB Clause 4.6

  Valid competence certificate of Grade GC5/BC5 and above

• Bid security Type and address

  Unconditional Bid Security is ETB 40,000.00  (Forty thousand birr only) validity days of 90+28 days must be Bank Guarantee and addressed to the Employer.

• Historical Financial Performance

  Submission of audited balance sheets and other financial statements as required in the BDS Clause 17, for the past Five years (2013-2017) EC to demonstrate the current soundness of the Bidder’s financial position and its prospective long-term profitability. External auditors and revenue agency.
