REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) – VEHICLE

Children’s HopeChest (CHC) is a foreign charity, non- governmental organization, which was established in 1994 to equip orphan and vulnerable children, families, and their communities to escape from the cycle of poverty. CHC was registered by Ethiopian Authority for Civil Societies Organizations (ASCO) in September 2011G.C. Our approach transforms the lives of vulnerable children and their communities through partnerships that focus on sustainability, independence, and long-term self-sufficiency.

Children’s HopeChest is soliciting bid for the Supply of EV vehicles that meet technical specifications outlined below. This procurement will adhere to the polices of Children’s HopeChest procurement policies. We encourage bidders to submit their most competitive proposals in line with the Criteria and product specifications.

The Supplier must fulfill the following criterion/documents:

• Valid Business License of 2018 E.C
• Valid registration documents
• Tax clearance certificate
• TIN & VAT certificate
• Customs declaration
• Importer license
• Manufacturer’s certificate of origin
• CoC for car importation license
• Standard inspection form

Bid Security: The bidder should submit CPO amounting to 2% of the total bid amount in ETB as per the exchange rate on the date of submission, with the name of Children’s HopeChest ONLY. No bid bond/ bank guarantee is accepted. CPO should be delivered in person to the Children’s HopeChest Office to the below address. The CPO must be valid for at least 180 days from the bid submission deadline. The CPO shall be returned to unsuccessful bidders within 15 days of the contract award.

Delivery date: Within 15 working days upon signing of Contract Agreement.

Delivery place: Children’s HopeChest Country Office.

Submission method: All quotations should be submitted through the following email address tzeleke@hopechest.org with subject line RFQ No Vehicle 02/2025 within 10 working days. CHC reserves the right to reject any or all the bids.
