INVITATION TO BID FOR PROCUREMENT OF Zala deep well Solar Powered Pumped small scale irrigation

1. The SERS Irrigation And LowLand Development Bureau invites eligible bidders for the construction of of Zala deep well Solar Powered pumped small scale irrigation

2. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security for 120 calendar days in the form of either of an unconditional guarantee issued by a bank, or CPO in the amount as indicated in the table above.

3. The employer now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders with license grade:- WWC-3 with Electro-Mechanical Grade-3 or GC-3 with Electro-Mechanical Grade-3 & Above for the execution and completion of Solar Powered Pumped small scale irrigation AND RELATED WORKS FROM BOREHOLE of ZALA deep well solar powered pumped Small Scale Irrigation Project; which is being bid as a unit price/admeasurement/contract based on the bill of quantities.

4. This IFB is open to all eligible bidders who wish to participate. Subject to the restrictions stipulated in the bidding document, eligible bidders may associate with other bidders to enhance their capacity to successfully carry out the works.

5. A contractor will be selected using the national competitive bidding (NCB) method in accordance with the PPA Procurement Guide lines.

6. Please note that a pre-bid conference will not be held as described in the Bid Data Sheet (BDS), Section III of the bidding document.

7. Bidders are must visit the project construction site before submitting their proposals with their own expense.if not it is a point of rejection.

8. Bidders interested in submitting a bid shall purchase the bidding document against payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1,200.00 (One Thousand Two Hundred birr). The Method of Payment Will be Cash. The document will be sent by hand.

Bidders who wish to participate in the bidding process should submit two envelopes containing the 1 (one) original and 2 (two) copies of separately sealed technical and financial documents all in one mother envelope.

The deadline for submission of bids will be on the next day of after 21th day of the the bid advertised date at 8:00 O’clock local time and bids shall be opened immediately there after at 8:30 O’clock local time on the same date If the day of opening is “holy day” or weekend(Saturday & Sunday) the bid oppenning will be on the next working day.

11. Bidders should be aware that late bids will not be accepted under any circumstance and will be returned unopened at the written request and cost of the bidder. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security or a bid securing declaration (as required) in the manner and amount specified in the Bid Data Sheet/BDS/.

12. Please note that electronic bids shall not be accepted.
