Awash Wine S.C. invites eligible and qualified contractors to participate in a tender for the following project.

Project Title

Borehole Investigation, Rehabilitation, and Development

Project Location

Lideta Site, Addis Ababa.

Scope of Work

The project aims to provide a sustainable and reliable water supply by conducting a detailed borehole investigation and implementing appropriate solutions based on the findings.

The Project Approach will be Phased Strategy

• Phase 1: Borehole Investigation (Mandatory)
• Phase 2: Borehole rehabilitation/Deepening. If this step will not work
• Phase 3: New Borehole Development (the total yield will be 4.5-6 l/s if necessary, the output will be adjusted based on findings)

The contractor shall carry out a detailed technical investigation before any rehabilitation or drilling work.

The selected contractor will be responsible for:

1. Hydrogeological and technical investigation of the existing borehole
2. Borehole rehabilitation works. if feasible
3. Borehole deepening, if required
4. Drilling and development of a new borehole if the existing borehole is not recoverable
5. Supply and Installation of submersible pump and control systems
6. Testing, commissioning, and documentation

The system must achieve a minimum discharge capacity of 2-2.5 liters/second.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested bidders must:

• Have proven experience in borehole drilling and rehabilitation works
• Provide references for similar completed projects
• Possess qualified technical personnel and necessary equipment
• Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
• Valid renewed business license for 2018 E.C. and VAT registration certificate

Interested bidders can collect the detailed bidding documents from the Procurement Office of Awash Wine S.C during working hours.

Bid Submission Deadline

Bidders are required to submit their bids in sealed envelopes to the Procurement Office within 15 working days from the date of this announcement. All bids must include both technical and financial proposals.
