Invitation for National Competitive Bid

Development Bank of Ethiopia invites interested bidders to participate on the bid for the Supply. Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Training of Hybrid Inverter.

Solar photovoltaic (PV) Panel, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for Ten (10) DBE Branches and District Offices.

Therefore,

1. Interested bidders are required to submit together with their bid documents:-

I. Renewed Trade License

II. TIN Certificate

III. VAT Registration Certificate

IV. Tax clearance certificate

V. Supplier Registration Certificate

VI. Competency Certificate

2. Interested bidders may purchase a soft copy of bidding document starting from June 24, 2026, upon payment of a non-refundable Birr 500 (Birr Five Hundred only) to Customer Transaction Service office, at DBE head office Tower II, Ground Floor and collect soft copy of the bid documents from Procurement Directorate located at Kiamed Building (Former Sugar Corporation Head Office), 1st floor, Near to DBE head office, during working hours.

3. Bidders must furnish bid security of Birr 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Birr Only) in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee from recognized bank.

4. Bids shall be submitted into the tender box prepared for this purpose on or before July 13, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. or (4:00 Local Time, Morning) at Kiamed Building, 1st floor.

5. Bids shall be opened in the above mentioned address, on July 13, 2026 at 10:05 A.M or (4:05 Local time, Morning) in the presence of bidders and/or their authorized representatives.

6. Interested bidders may obtain further information from procurement directorate located at Kiamed building, 1st floor, Near to DBE head office, during working hours Tel + 251115244042, ext 1216;

7. Bidders should present Original and Copy of their Financial and Technical documents separately in sealed envelope.

8. The language of the tender is English.

9. DBE reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
