INVITATION TO BID/ TENDER

Fayyaa Integrated Development Organization (FIDO), non-governmental Organization (NGO) implementing different development and humanitarian activities for over 23 years in Ethiopia, invites eligible bidders to submit their prices and terms and conditions for procuring of full solar pump and panels with all necessary accessories for a project located in Oromia Region, Borena Zone, Moyale Woreda as described below. Fayyaa Integrated Development Organization (FIDO is implementing Ethiopia Humanitarian Fund (EHF) funded Rapid life-saving integrated response to disease outbreaks and acute malnutrition in 7(seven) woredas of Oromia Region. Water, Sanitation & Hygiene is one of the main components and in line with this FIDO seeks to solarize 2 (two) existing borehole-based Water Supply Systems in Borena Zone, Moyale Woreda

1.  Supply, transport, installation, testing and commissioning of Solar Submersible Pump and panels with necessary accessories.
2. As part of Planned Water Supply Solarization, FIDO now invites eligible bidders for procurement of solar PV with all necessary accessories including transportation, installation, testing and commissioning. The work includes supply of all required materials (transportation, loading, unloading, testing & commissioning.
3. Detailed information regarding the volume of work and instruction to bidders and specifications can be collected from FIDO Office HR and Administration Department during the working days (Monday to Friday).
4.  Bidders non-refundable fee of Birr 300 (Three Hundred birr) starting from the 1st day of announcement (June 28,2026) On Reporter News.
5. Experience of the bidder shall be supported by stamped letters from third party where the bidder previously including executed similar projects successfully necessary references for verification. Project on hand and executed percentage should be clearly mentioned on the technical proposal
6. Bidders are required to submit wax sealed one original and one copy for each of their technical and financial proposals with the expected time frame to complete the contract in sealed envelope. For both financial and technical proposals, original and copy documents should be submitted in separate envelopes by clearly indicating as ‘copy’ and ‘original’. All Pages of Technical and financial proposal should be signed and stamped.
7. The price quotation should be in local currency and has to include all the necessary related costs like installation and transportation in separate rows.
8.  Interested bidders can participate by presentation of renewed relevant license for 2018 E.C/2026 GC, VAT registration certificate and Tax Identification Number (TIN) together with WRITTEN APPLICATION to the above office.
9.  Bid shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by Bid security of not less than 2% of contract price in the form of CPO Only
10.  The bid bond should be submitted in separate envelopes attached to financial proposal. the CPO should not be placed inside financial proposal envelope.
11. All documents shall be submitted to the address below. The last proposal submission date and time is 8th of July before 10:30 AM. Any clarification can be requested at any time 3 days prior to proposals submission deadline.
12. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend on the same day (8th of July) at 4:00 PM at FIDO conference room.
13. FIDO reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Late bids shall also be rejected.
14.  Bidders shall submit their bids including the bid bond in a wax sealed and stamped envelope to:
