Hellenic Greek international school invites eligible and qualified furniture from reputable, licensed Furniture Manufacturers for the supply and delivery of high-quality, durable, and ergonomically designed furniture for our School.

We are seeking manufacturing partners who prioritize durability, safety, and modern design to create an exceptional learning and working environment.

1. Scope of Supply

The procurement is divided into the following categories. Due to time constraint Bidders may bid for individual lots only.

Lot 1 Student Chairs/Seating (high Standard)

• Kindergarten (KG) Classes: Vibrant, safe, lightweight, and impact-resistant chairs with rounded edges (toxic-free materials) and, according to the sample and design provided by the school.
• Primary School Classes: Durable, height-appropriate, durable student chairs designed for high-frequency daily use, and according to the sample and design provided by the school.
• High School Classes: Heavy-duty, high standard contoured chairs built and, according to the sample and design provided by the school.

Lot 2: Staff Ergonomic table / Workstations and Storage Filing Shelves

• Type: Modern, space-efficient staff tables (individual and modular clusters) and,
• Features: Integrated cable management, durable scratch-resistant surfaces, sleek metal or premium wood finishes table.
• High-capacity shelves, filing cabinets, and modular credenzas.

2. Eligibility Requirements:- Prospective manufacturers must demonstrate the capacity to deliver large-scale, high-quality orders. Bids will be evaluated based on:

• Manufacturing Capacity: Proven track record with automated or high-end production facilities.
• Design & Material Quality: Use of eco-friendly, durable, and premium materials.
• Financial Competitiveness: Best value for money, including bulk manufacturing discounts.
• Warranty & After-Sales: Minimum 1-year and above warranty on structures and hardware.
• Delivery Period: Within 30 calendar days after signing the contract
• Valid Trade License, Valid Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), VAT Registration
• Certificate, Valid Tax Clearance Certificate, Certificate of Business Registration, Evidence of
• price alone is not the only criterion; bidders must also be technically responsive and qualified.

3. Bid Document

The Bid Document Shall be obtained from Finance and Procurement Department, from July 28,2026, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 12:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM until Tuesday August 11,2026,9:00 AM by depositing Payment of a non-returnable fee of Birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr only) for each LOT through Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Account No. 1000661448858 to the account of Hellenic Greek International School.

Bidders must submit the Technical and the financial document in Separate envelope 2, (Two) copies labeled as original and copy. (Technical total 2 documents, 1 original and 1 copy, financial total 2 documents 1 original and 1 copy).

BID bond shall be submitted in Separate envelope.

Bid must be accompanied a bid bond above specified amount in the form of unconditional and irrevocable Bank Guarantee or Cashier’s Payment Order (CPO) at least valid for 90 days up on submission of offer. At the same time the bid validity shall be 90 days.

Bid will be closed Tuesday August 11,2026 9:30 A.M and will open in the same day Tuesday August 11,2026, 10:00 A.M in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives at the avenue of Hellenic Greek International School.

Failure to comply with any of the condition stated above shall result in automatic rejection.

The school reserves the right to accept or reject the bid either partially or fully.
