PUBLIC TENDER ANNOUNCEMENT – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

About the Company

Youth and Cultural Development Foundation (YCDF) is a non-profit organization established in 2013 by youth leaders and social entrepreneurs in Ethiopia. YCDF is dedicated in empowering young people through skills development, entrepreneurship, employment creation, and sustainable livelihood initiatives. 

YCDF is currently seeking to develop and implement an integrated open-source technology solution (e.g., Odoo, ERPNext, or a similar platform) to unify and streamline its non-profit operations with those of its newly established social enterprise. Accordingly, YCDF invites interested, qualified, reliable, and experienced firms to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the development and implementation of an integrated open-source technology solution.

Key Requirements

Interested firms should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in open-source ERP implementation;
• Proven experience in implementing solutions for dual-entity structures (non-profit and for-profit);
• Demonstrated experience of working with both NGOs and commercial enterprises;
• Strong local presence and operational capacity in Ethiopia;
• Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience on the Ethiopian digital landscape
• Demonstrated capacity to support fund accounting, e-commerce, human resources management, project management, and inter-entity transactions.

How to Apply

Interested firms are required to submit their Technical and Financial Proposals separately. The Technical Proposal shall be submitted as one single PDF document containing the following:

• A detailed proposal outlining your approach to the project, including a timeline and budget.
• Summarized Curriculum Vitae of each team member both for the Lead experts and support team
• Relevant Experience, including at least three similar projects, of which at least one must involve a dual-entity structure;
• Portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
• References from previous clients.
• TIN and VAT Certificate
• Tax compliance Certificate
• Valid Trading License/ Business Permit
• Company Registration certificates

Please note that the Technical Proposal should not exceed 12 pages
