PREQUALIFICATION OF WATER WORKS CONTRACTORS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TULU AWALIA WATER SUPPLY PROJECT
World Vision International Ethiopia (WVIE) invites interested local contractors to participate in the prequalification process for the construction of the Tulu Awalia Water Supply Project, located in Tulu Awalia (01) Kebele, Legambo Woreda, South Wollo Zone, Amhara Region.
1. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Interested contractors must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be registered as Water Works and/or General Contractors, Class/Grade 4 (Four) or above.
- Hold a valid and renewed contractor’s license issued by the Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Energy or another legally authorized government bureau mandated to issue the relevant license.
- Have a valid license renewed for Ethiopian Fiscal Year 2018/2019 E.C. or 2026 GC.
2. REGISTRATION
Eligible and interested contractors shall register for the prequalification process using the following online registration forms:

Registration Period: September 30, 2026 – October 7, 2026
Contractors are required to provide a valid company email address when completing the registration form.
3. PREQUALIFICATION DOCUMENT
The prequalification bidding document/Terms of Reference (TOR) will be distributed to eligible registered contractors through their registered company email addresses on October 8, 2026.

5. IMPORTANT NOTICE
- Contractors who have failed World Vision’s performance evaluation or have been removed from World Vision’s prequalification list shall not be eligible to participate in this bid.
- World Vision International Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications.
