Procurement of Grundfos SQFlex SQF 2.5-2 Submersible Pump

With Tender reference number: ET127/2026/TEN/SUP/10/GRUNDF to submit sealed bids at our head office in Addis Ababa.

Interested bidders must meet the following mandatory administrative and technical requirements:

1. Administrative requirements

Renewed and valid trade license for the business sector for the year 2018 E.C..

VAT Registration Certificate

Demonstrated experience and competence in the supply of vehicles to international NGOs.

Evidence of financial capacity and stability.

II. Technical requirements

Grundfos SQFlex SQF 2.5-2 Submersible Pump

Grundfos SQFlex SQF 2.5-2 helical-rotor submersible pump, complete with all accessories and connections required for safe and complete operation.

Requirement	Minimum Technical Specification
Pump	Grundfos SQFlex SQF 2.5-2; positive-displacement helical rotor; 3-inch class; outside diameter 74 mm; minimum borehole diameter 76 mm; discharge Rp 1 ¼   stainless-steel construction. senetil
Hydraulic requirement	Nominal model flow designation 2.5 m3/h. Supplier shall confirm the required operating flow at the project Total Dynamic Head (TDH) using the official Grundfos performance curve.
Motor/power	Grundfos MSF3 permanent-magnet motor: 30-300 VDC or 1×90-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz; maximum input power P1 1.4 kW: maximum current 8.4 A; maximum speed 3,600 rpm; IP68.
Protection/control	Built-in dry-running, overload, over-temperature, over-voltage and under-voltage protection, with automatic restart. MPPT functionality when operated from DC/solar supply.
Accessories	Correctly sized submersible cable, watertight cable joint, rising-main adaptor, cable supports/ clamps, borehole-head sealing, isolation/protection devices, earthing, compatible controls, fittings and all installation consumables. Cable size shall be calculated for actual depth and voltage.
Testing & acceptance	Verify installation depth, electrical parameters, flow rate, pressure/head, leakage, water-level/dry-run protection and stable operation. Final acceptance is based on achievement of the approved duty point.
Supplier documents	Official Grundfos datasheet and performance curve, installation manual, cable-sizing calculation, accessories list, proof of genuine product/origin, warranty, serial/nameplate details and commissioning report.

Bidders should submit their unit price after VAT and the total price for each item.

Bidders must submit their technical and financial proposals in a sealed envelope clearly labelled “Procurement of Grundfos SQFlex SQF 2.5-2 Submersible Pump” in the tender box in the MSF Belgium Office Arada Sub city about 600m north of Women’s Square, or 130m north of Aware Square on or before 21 October 2026 at 05:00 PM.

Bid Opening:

• MSF will communicate to the winning supplier after opening of the BID and analysis.

• Late submissions or bids received after the specified closing date and time will be rejected and returned unopened.
• Participation in this tender is restricted to legally registered, qualified, and eligible firms/ service providers with the capacity to perform the required services.

Bidders shall submit.

• One (1) original and one (1) copy of the Technical Proposal; and
• One (1) original and one (1) copy of the Financial Proposal.
• The Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal must be prepared separately, sealed in separate envelopes, and clearly marked accordingly.
• The separately sealed Technical and Financial Proposal envelopes shall then be enclosed in a single outer envelope, which must be clearly marked with: The bidder’s company name and address; The Tender Reference Number; and the tender title.
• The completed bid package shall be delivered to MSF Belgium at the address indicated in this invitation to tender.
• Any attempt to influence the tender evaluation process may result in disqualification of the bidder.
