INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB) Bid No.: AWACH/NCB/G/01/2019

Tender for the Procurement of IT Infrastructure (Hardware and
Software) for the Data Center

1. In compliance with the applicable cooperative laws and regulations, Awach Saving and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. (AWACH SACCOS) invites eligible and qualified bidders to participate in a National Competitive Bidding process for the procurement of IT infrastructure (hardware and software) for its Data Center.

2. The procurement includes the supply, installation, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of data center IT infrastructure, including enterprise rack servers, an all-flash storage system, a backup and disaster recovery system, core network switching equipment, firewall and web application firewall solutions, data protection and backup software, virtualization solutions, manufacturer support and warranty services, technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer, as specified in the bidding document. Interested bidders shall submit valid and relevant business registration and renewed trade licenses, valid tax clearance certificates, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), VAT registration certificates where applicable, relevant technical qualifications, and other documents required by the bidding document.

3. Interested bidders may obtain a complete set of bidding documents in English from the address indicated below upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 500.00(Five Hundred birr only). The deadline for submission of bids shall be 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this Invitation for Bids in The Ethiopian Herald newspaper

4. Each bidder shall furnish bid security of ETB 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Ethiopian Birr) in the form of a Cash Payment Order (CPO) or an unconditional bank guarantee valid for at least 120 days, as specified in the bidding document. Bidders shall prepare and submit their technical and financial proposals separately in sealed envelopes, following the instructions provided in the bidding document.

5. AWACH SACCOS reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, wholly or partially, and to cancel the bidding process in accordance with the bidding document and applicable procurement procedures.
