INVITATION TO BID

The Ministry of Water and Energy Workers Cooperative hereby invites eligible and qualified bidders to participate in a competitive bidding process for the lease, management, and operation of a rooms on a newly constructed G+1 commercial building located within the Ministry of Water and Energy compound. The building comprises different-sized rooms on the ground and first floors, which are available for lease for suitable commercial activities.

1.Bid Document Purchase

Interested bidders may obtain the bidding document upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1,000.00 (One Thousand Birr). Room no 219 at the Ministry compound The payment shall be deposited into the following account:

2. Bid Submission Deadline

Completed bid documents shall be submitted to the designated office of the Ministry of Water and Energy Workers Cooperative no later than: Date: August 30, 2026, Time: Before 2:00 PM, Room No 219 Bids submitted after the stated deadline shall not be accepted.

3. Bid Opening

The bid opening shall take place on the same date immediately after the submission deadline:
Date: August 30, 2026, Time: 2:30 PM, Venue: Ministry of Water and Energy Compound Bidders or their authorized representatives may attend the bid opening.

4. Bid Validity

The bid shall remain valid for 90 calendar days from the bid submission deadline.

5. Right of the Cooperative

The Ministry of Water and Energy Workers Cooperative reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of the bid, in accordance with the applicable bidding requirements and without being obliged to accept the lowest or any bid.
